Spill the Tea...

I am a proud SOVAS and One Voice nominated audiobook narrator! I have narrated around 180 books (give or take a chapter) from my home studio. I am in this industry by way of being completely obsessed with reading and equally obsessed with audiobooks, while ALSO having a flair and passion for performance. (theater kid!). I am a reader first, narrator second. I adore books, and have been reading my entire life. I grew up on my mother’s many mystery and detective series and of course, Sweet Valley High. My favorite genres are Romance, Romantic Comedy, Literature, Young-Adult, Sci-Fi/Fantasy, and Thriller. Being a self-proclaimed audio addict, I have listened to thousands of audiobooks, and know what it takes to engage the listener and help them to connect with the story. I live in Nashville, Tennessee and love all music (not just country music). You can also find me under my pseudonym Allie Piper.

Amanda is an All-American southern girl from Tennessee. She grew up as a tennis playing, book reading, movie watching, musical theater/show choir girl. She is a huge sports fan – Go Vols! (and thinks every proper girl should learn to throw a perfect spiral)
School was where she excelled, but she had the soul of a performer! She LOVES music, (any music!) and was heavily involved in musical theater, acting, singing, and show choir. She attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, and then moved to Nashville after graduating with a degree in Political Science and Broadcasting.
She spent the majority of her career working in the non-profit sector for the American Heart Association. She is very passionate about creating change and making a difference. As the Youth Market Director for the state of Tennessee, Amanda’s platform was childhood obesity, nutrition, and physical activity.
